Solar Power Europe reveals its latest outlook on the rise of solar photovoltaic power in world. After a bullish market in 2019 with almost 117GW of new solar photovoltaic installations, 2020 is set to become an unusual year in the long-term growth trajectory of this technology. The growth trend for the years until 2024 is expected to gain momentum again as of 2021 thanks to the ever-increasing cost-competitiveness of the technology, with growth rates in the Medium Scenario of around 10% per annum.
